Karen M2024-08-23We stayed in the big red bus. It was super. The kiddies loved the novelty. 6 beds upstairs, all bar 2 were super mattresses which made for a great night sleep. Lovely facilities. Whilst it was a wonderful experience and would go back, the €300 for 1 night on a Thursday was quite a lot for what the whole experience was.Paula Whyte2024-08-22We recently stayed here with family. We rented the newly renovated farmhouse while other family members stayed in the buses onsite. The farmhouse was really comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay. There is a lovely seating area in the front and a private back garden. The house has lovely views overlooking the lake. The hosts were lovely and went out of their way to help in any way they could. I would recommend this house for families.Marjon Nijrees2024-07-19We stayed in the pod on Glasson Glamping Farm. Very nice spot, with everything you need. Eddy&Marjon FiringJess Ousley2024-07-14Had a fab stay at Glasson Glamping! 4 adults and 4 children, we stayed on the big green bus. Amazingly spacious! The beds were so comfy. Had a mini fridge, kettle, toaster. Toilet and sink upstairs. Wood pellet stove, which Adrian kindly showed us how to use, just in case. Extra heaters and also fans around the place. Outside there is a table and chairs and fire pit, plenty of fuel readily available. The site itself is a bit out of the way, but so peaceful. Adrian was about now and again to see how everyone is doing. Communal sheltered seating area with a stove, big green area between the lots for the kids to socialise. Kitchen area with extra fridge, hob, oven, microwave, toaster, BBQ. Extra dishes, cups, cutlery, etc. 3 toilets and a shower. A closed in barn with pool table, table tennis, 4inaRow. The area was closed off, but looks like extra sitting room and smoking area for large groups. Would be an excellent place for a celebration 🎉!! I will certainly bear it in mind for any parties we have coming up. I thought it was great value, especially considering it slept 8 of us. I had been looking for hotels that would accommodate all of us and the prices were extortionate! We only got to stay the one night, but we will definitely be back!!!t bailey2024-06-06very rural, no wifi and was expensiveMairead Fanning2024-05-29I organised a hen party at Glasson and we couldn't have found a better spot! The facilities and location were fantastic. Adrian and his team went out of their way to make sure we were as comfortable as possible. Can't wait to go back!Huda Hassan2024-05-25Amazing 2 days in glasson glamping. Well maintained. Just woundered whats wrong with water, cause the kettle gets dirty with salt sediments. The green bus has 2 double beds and 4 single beds very clean and neat. With one toilet and No shower. Other than that every thing is excellent. There is no wifi reaches in the buses. The farm is 1 killometer far. I think we will return back soon 😊😊😊😊Google rating score: 4.9 of 5,

Melissa D25. August, 2024.Breathable, peaceful, Breathtaking, Enjoyable and memories to last a lifetime 😊 We went for a family getaway before back to school and no better way to enjoy it with my boys than staying on the big yellow school bus, My children had a ball having their freedom playing football while making new friends, there is alot to do e.g. Wellness Walk, Games room while we relaxed and got the firepit started for roasting Marshmallows and making smores 😊 under the starry night. The glamping site is very clean and well looked after, The creative and decor and all the hardwork gone into this business is phenomal 💝. My children did not want to come home we cannot wait to return. If you are not a driver you can avail of a local bus service to and from. Adrian and the team were very nice 😊 and if you need anything there are numbers provided on-site.Lisa M15. August, 2024.Beautiful Place Our family of five stayed in The Lakeview Apartment. It was very clean, comfortable, pretty and had everything we needed. The kitchen was geat and we enjoyed a tasty barbeque. The children had lots of fun while we relaxed and enjoyed the view. We will definitely go back again.Mary W13. August, 2024.Gem of a find in Athlone. Absolutely incredible spot. My husband and my two children and I had a ball here. Stayed in the red bus for 2 nights. And I could not fault anything about the stay. Adrian is a gentleman and is on site for any issues that might arise. It's just such a fun, relaxing getaway.louise S7. April, 2024.Green bus family stay Brilliant experience, we stayed un the green bus and had a ball. The kids absolutely loved it. The fire oven for cooking pizza is lovely and there's a great games room and a lovely farm walk. Kids loved the novelty of the bus and private toilets were perfect. Area was spotless and the hosts were fabulous. Would highly recommend a visit, we will definitely return.Mercedes K24. February, 2024.100% recommendable We had an excellent stay, the place is very complete in terms of entertainment and facilities. The rooms were heated. Our bus was super warm. We were a group of 7 people and at night we had a barbecue. They have a kitchen, refrigerator. Excellent.Shane N15. February, 2024.Relaxation Location The experience as a whole was amazing. We booked our stay for Valentine’s Day in the log house and were greeted with a rose and some lovely chocolates upon arrival. We met Adrian a few times and he was really nice, very helpful and overall just a great host. He explained everything to us including how to use the wood fire hot tub and we had a really nice night in it with only the ambient lighting from the tub around us. An extremely good relaxation location and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for such a thing.Extraordinary6974764. August, 2023.Log house - a little place to relax Just back from an amazing weekend away at the Glasson Glamping Farm where we were the first to enjoy the amazing log house. We can recommend this lovely place to everyone. It has all you need to relax and enjoy nature.Carol O17. August, 2023.Great Holiday Glamping! Had our yearly holiday with friends at Glassen Glamping, spent 5 nights had both the school bus and the Horse box with hot tub. Accommodation was spotless and beds were extremely comfortable, kitchen and own bathroom with shower in each, constant hot water. The communal facilities were very clean and all kitchen utensils you would need are provided. Pizza oven, bbq's, dishwasher and washing machine on site. Communal showers were immaculate, Games room had everything to entertain kids in the evening, a lovely green area in the campsite for kids to play, very safe and peaceful and only 20mins from Athlone. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.Matilda2Ireland17. July, 2023.Quirky, remote place, nice experience Arrived on a very wet Friday, our key was hanging in the kitchenette of the Shepherds hut. The Shepherds hut has a bunk bed and a double bed, a kitchenette outside and a toilet/handbasin attached. All very clean and well equipped. The double bed was really comfy, a couple of more pillows would have been nice. There are 2 communal showers and toilets only a few metres away - again all very clean. There are also full cooking facilities, bbq, fridges, pizza oven, washing machine, we didn't use them due to the dreadful weather. There is also a large games room with pool, table tennis, seating area and a few other games. You are beside/on a full working farm so you may be woken by the cows :) There is a nice 1.5km around the farm where you see cows and donkeys. All in all its a quirky place with loads of potential for more play areas for kids etc. But we really enjoyed it , it was a novelty for our 5 year old even if the weather was awful.Tripadvisor rating score: 5.0 of 5, based on 56 reviews

August, 2024.9.0WonderfulBecca9. August, 2024.10Amazing, lovely to spend quality time with family as mobile data isn’t great so more time to spend with the family ☺ Amazing place. Great host he was very kind and helpful with any questions we had. Only thing is you are booking the chalet include that you want to use the hot tub as it was unavailable to us as I never request the owner to turn on and fill. But not that it caused any issues place was fantastic great place for kids so much to do around lovely walks and bits for the kids too. Would def stay againBernie8.
